THE CIVIL WAR

Not the Spanish, English, or Norwegian civil war - the American civil war! No war since the Revolution has affected our country so much as the Civil War. This war produced the submarine, the mine, the ironclad, along with America's finest generals. The names of Lee, Grant, Jackson, and Sherman are etched in America's memory. This is my tribute to the 714,000 men who gave their lives for their country, whether North or South.
